The Ultimate 81 was a technical running shoe from 1981 with a focus on stability & lightness, this is a very nice grey/yellow & black colourway with a mesh/suede toe nylon on the upper & leather tiger stripes.

With a new type of all-weather track introduced, there was a need for the “TIGER PAW DS-5700™”, the first all-weather track shoe in the world. A special type of outsole was developed that had interchangeable cleats and also addressed the condition of hydroplaning on rainy days. The Runspark was the spikeless version of this shoe and was one of the lightest all-weather track shoes at the time.
